G.O.T reference: Bron Stark yields Winterfell to Theon Greyjoy.
Message: Five of Swords tells you that you need to remain uninvolved in the arguments of others. No matter what the situation, you become what you surround yourself with; if you stoop to the levels of others, you will be lowering yourself. There is no benefit in engaging with others at this time. Rather stay clear and stay unaffected by their actions. There will be other opportunities for you to get involved, this week is not a good time for that.
G.O.T reference: The Spear of Oberyn Martell, Red Viper of Dorne. The viper appears on his sword hilt.
Message: Ace of Wands is all about high energy and inspiration. It shows new opportunities will be coming your way this week and you need to be independent in all that you do. Dont wait for others to lead, take the lead yourself. Be the strong independent thinker you are meant to be.
G.O.T reference: Lord Petyr Baelish, Master of Coin of the Small Council, holding a Braavosi iron coin
Message: King of Pentacles is guiding you to take control of all things important in your life. Are you completely satisfied? Are you wanting to improve your circumstances and your finances? This is a good week to make changes.
G.O.T reference: A man transports ten lances at a Kings Landing tourney. Banners fly for House Arryn, Lannister, and Stark.
Message: 10 of Wands wants you to know that the hard work is nearly over! You are almost at your intended destination – do not give up! Even if you are totally exhausted and feeling like you just cant… You can, You will and You must! The end is very near and success is yours!
G.O.T reference: Queen Regent Cersei Lannister seated on the iron throne in the Red Keep’s Great Hall.
Message: Queen of Swords urges you to be a quick thinker. She’s telling you that this might be a week where you need your wits about you and being more organised, perceptive and independent will get you the win you’re after. Don’t be afraid to be a little bossy this week.
G.O.T reference: Lady Brienne of Tarth IS Strength. With courage, she has survived a litany of taunts and rejection: “All my life men like you have sneered me,” she once snarled at Jaime Lannister, her captive, “and all my life I’ve been knocking men like you to the dust.” Jaime and brienne torment, yet rescue each other, eventually finding balance and resolution. When Brienne is about to give Jaime back his sword, Oathkeeper, at Riverrun, Jaime says, “It will always be yours.” In this touching moment, the sword becomes a symbol of their new mutual respect, and of Brienne’s enduring strength.
Message: Strength tells you that you are stronger than you realise. You may need to dig deep but you can, you will and you must. You may need to take a moral stance, hold your ground or deal very sensitively with someone – but whatever it is, you are capable of tackling anything that you are fearful of right now.
G.O.T reference:As Queen of Meereen, Daenerys Targaryen presides over the recently reopened Meereen fighting tournament.
Message: Queen of Wands is a really powerful card. You are strong, courageous, energetic, confident and warm and you have a good strong solid handle on your emotions this week. Your cheerfulness and optimism will draw in the people you need to surround yourself with this week. Allow your creativity to flow and know that you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to this coming week. Your keywords for the week are Strength, confidence, courage, conviction and creativity.
G.O.T reference: At the lush arbo – return of the Red Keep, a canopy of celebration flowers.
Message: Four of Wands is a lovely card of rejoicing and celebrating all you have achieved. This card talks of stability in the family and/or relationships. It talks about solid foundations and urges us to recognise and celebrate this. So whatever you are doing this week, take the time to acknowledge and celebrate all the family and close friends you have in your life. Know that you are never alone and everyone you share your life with each bring something special to your life! You are truly blessed! Love, happiness, success, joy and celebration are your keywords for the week.
G.O.T reference: Brienne of Tarth, captured by Locke’s men before she and Jaime Lannister are delivered to Harrenhal.
Message: 8 of Swords shows that you may find yourself feeling restricted, trapped, and alone this week. Your confidence may take a knock too, but what you may not realise is that you are not trapped, its your own inner perceptions and fears that is making you feel this way. Take a long hard look at your current circumstances and see the situations for what they truly are. Realise that you are strong and divinely protected.
G.O.T reference: The unofficial Lannister motto: “A Lannister always pays his debts.”
Message: Two of Pentacles wants you to be a little more aware of your financial situation this week. Pay attention to anything that needs your attention. You may need to do some juggling this week. Before embarking on anything, weigh up the pro’s and con’s to ensure that it is worth the effort. There are many changing occurring for you right now but you have the ability to manage them.
G.O.T Reference: Eddard Stark rests by a weirwood tree at Winterfell after killing a deserter from the Wall.
Message: King of Wands knows exactly what to do, how to do it, and when it should be done. The King is all about delegation and fulfilling the vision. Be authentic and true to yourself, your quest/vision and your goals and you will enjoy success this week. Dont be afraid, nervous, and make sure you don’t show any signs of doubt. Taking control of all you do will lead you to success. Keywords: Leadership, Business, Confidence, Delegation
G.O.T Reference: The Red Woman, Melisandre, is the Tarot’s Priestess, shadowbinder, and former advisor to Stannis Baratheon and Jon Snow. The flames in her chamber represent R’hllor, Lord of Light; fire is her holy book, through which she communes with her god. Her card number, II, signifies duality. The Priestes mediates between the earthly and spirit realms, what is evident and what is hidden. Melisandre also has a hidden identity of crone. While her practices have brutal outcomes – she births a vile spectre to kill Renly Baratheon, and incites the killing of Shireen Baratheon – she can use her power for good, and briefly redeems herself by bringing Jon Snow back to life after his assassination by the Night’s Watch. For this reason, she echoes both the negative and positive aspects of the Tarot’s spiritual Priestess.
Message: The High Priestess often talks about our Intuition and our Inner Knowing. Not all information comes from books and experience, and sometimes we just have to listen to the little voice inside our heads which is heeding us a warning or guiding us along our path. If your gut feelings are strong right now, it will do you well to listen. Take time to quieten the noise and just listen – tune in your intuition.
So however your week pans out, just know that you are loved, supported and that someone cares! You are not alone and there are many who are rooting for you to be happy and successful in everything you do.
With love and blessings,
From me to you,
