Thank you to everyone who has taken part in my little voting poll on Facebook. I really appreciate your feedback and its great to see that so many of you really enjoy these TarotScopes.
I love doing them and will continue to do so but I was just comparing this post with some of my others and thought if other posts were more popular, I’d do more of them – and truth be told, TarotScopes is not one of the most popular according to the stats. But… Never fear, I’ll keep doing them as there are many of you who do enjoy them.
So this week I’m using a lovely simple and elegant deck known as the “Everyday Tarot” by Biddy Tarot. When I ordered it, I chose to get the mini deck which is really quite lovely. Its small and almost square in size but it fits my little hands quite well. I’ve been working with them for a while now and I really do enjoy their little size.
Their messages are not so little though… January certainly seems to be carrying a punch doesn’t it? I see it with my clients every day, January certainly doesn’t seem to be scared or nervous, in fact, its throwing life at us rather quickly. But I do see that we are all coping, we are managing to catch and dodge as we need to.
But just in case we take our eye off the ball, lets look at what energy we have to deal with for this coming week.
10 of Cups brings feelings of happiness and joy for you. This week you will enjoy a good balance of life. You have worked so hard and you can enjoy all the fruits of your past efforts. Allow yourself time to enjoy the abundance around you and make sure you acknowledge everything and everyone in your life.
The Knight of Swords is a card of action. It’s telling you to charge ahead without giving too much thought on the tiny details. You are ready, you are charged and you can steam ahead with confidence. You have all the knowledge you need to accomplish whatever it is you need to. Your path is clear and unobstructed so this is a good time to make strong headway on projects! Action, strength, and courage are your words for this week.
6 of Swords is a card of change. It gives a feeling of wanting to go somewhere new and start over. As much as it gives us confirmation of success, it also warns of a long and possibly hard journey towards this success and new start. But don’t give in. Just mentally prepare yourself for the adventure and know that it is necessary. The journey is more important than the destination. Keywords: Passage, Transition, Relocation, Removal, Change of Attitude, Recovery, Earned success, Route
The Emperor is all about control, directing, moving forward and growth. During this week, make sure you are in the driver’s seat, make sure you are the one making the big decisions and you’ll achieve so much more than you expected.
King of Wands knows exactly what to do, how to do it, and when it should be done. The King is all about delegation and fulfilling the vision. Be authentic and true to yourself, your quest/vision and your goals and you will enjoy success this week. Dont be afraid, nervous, and make sure you don’t show any signs of doubt. Taking control of all you do will lead you to success. Keywords: Leadership, Business, Confidence, Delegation
You may cross swords with an opponent or face a problem that cannot be easily resolved. This is often a card of procrastination, and you’re blind as to which way forward. By all means, take time out to think, but a decision needs to be made, and soon! You need a workable solution, not a perfect one!
10 of Wands wants you to know that the hard work is nearly over! You are almost at your intended destination – do not give up! Even if you are totally exhausted and feeling like you just cant… You can, You will and You must! The end is very near and success is yours!
The Death card sounds really scary because we are all afraid of dying… but it does not refer to actual life! It refers to situations, circumstances and areas of our life which are stagnant, harsh, ugly and generally no longer serving us well. We want these to change, to die, to end, to stop!! Don’t we? Nothing can last forever in a single form, shape or way. We as humans are forever evolving and so must our situations and circumstances. Death is telling you to let go of whatever is no longer working in your life to make way for new. Its time to allow fresh new opportunities, people, circumstances to enter into your life. Keywords: Ending, Change, Rebirth, Fresh Start
The Hierophant is a card of simplicity. A card of realising that the answers we seek are rather simple and uncomplicated. It’s a card of truth and understanding. A card of traditions, order, rules and sometimes even orthodox dogma. This week you need to keep these thoughts and energies close. If you start to feel overwhelmed or confused, just close your eyes, take a deep breath, and ask yourself: “What do I really need to do in this situation?” and if you listen to your own inner wisdom, you’ll find the answer you seek. And you’ll see that its simple, uncomplicated and rather easy.
The Lovers is telling you that there are other things to consider in life besides for relationships. Love is very important but not just the love of others around you, but Love of self! You may also find yourself needing to make a decision regarding committement to a relationship or venture this week, and this card is reminding you to consider all options (good and bad) and make a more informed decision – and one that brings balance of Yin/Yang energy into your life. Consider the long-term impact of your decisions rather than the short-term gains!
Knight of Cups is all about being gallant, sensitive and yet strong. Your charm is your strength this week so use it to your advantage. It may just get you out of a few tight spots. But don’t allow this charm to become arrogance or to make you too sure of yourself. Try to keep balance in your emotions and actions this week. Poetry and romance are wonderful but too much can make you appear shallow and false. So use your charm and courage wisely and you’ll get through the week just fine. Your keywords for the coming week are Charm, courage, strength and balance.
Five of Swords tells you that you need to remain uninvolved in the arguments of others. No matter what the situation, you become what you surround yourself with; if you stoop to the levels of others, you will be lowering yourself. There is no benefit in engaging with others at this time. Rather stay clear and stay unaffected by their actions. There will be other opportunities for you to get involved, this week is not a good time for that.
So however your week pans out, just know that you are loved, supported and that someone cares! You are not alone and there are many who are rooting for you to be happy and successful in everything you do.
With love and blessings,
From me to you,
